The BCM Requirement

You will need planning tools to allow the scope of the system to be defined; to conduct Business Impact Analysis (where the critical processes are identified); to perform Risk Analysis (where specific vulnerabilities and their chosen controls are identified); and to perform Internal Audits (where compliance to agreed policies and procedures can be checked). Through ADVISA you can assign to responsible personnel any development and corrective activities identified, and track their progress and closure. What does ADVISA do for you? Communication is an integral part embedding Business Continuity into the heart and culture of your business. ADVISA helps you do this via its emailing facility, use of on-line training, simulation and testing, and storing staff contact lists and competency records within the management system.
The ADVISA management system is web-based, and hosted from a secure ISP, on highly-reliable and redundant web servers to remain active during a crisis, even when your normal IT systems may be inaccessible. Providing staff have access to a web browser, they can access the plans, the contact details for key personnel, and receive SMS text alerts and messages.
